I grew up a few streets from Cape Coast Castle, and like many women here, I learned about my own body mostly from whispers. When we opened Blue Almond in 2015, I wanted the opposite: a practice where every question is welcome and nobody is made to feel foolish for asking.
My work is to make sure everything around your care runs gently. Clear prices before you start. A waiting room that feels calm. A midwife who calls back when she says she will. I read every comment card myself, and many of the changes we have made came from them.
